Drakey, I must admit I'm a bit confused by your post and I think you made a couple of small errors with the room sizes. I wasn't sure what each room was so I checked out http://www.gladwynhotel.com/. I take it that room 14 is the same as room 12 as you said you had managed to get the family room? The family room has "one double bed and one sofa bed which sleeps two people."
So, I think it's safe to remove the couples staying in double rooms...
Room 4 (Double) - Clive & Maxine
Room 6 (Double) - Andy & Emma-Lisa
Room 8 (Double) - Faith & Brian
Room 9 (Twin) - Keith & wife
One idea was that Red and I swap then Red and Merry have said that they will share...
Room 10 (Double) - Red & Merry
Room 3 (Single) - Dogsbody
...which leaves...
Room 1 (Single) - Drakey
Room 5 (Twin) - Steve & Dan Solo
Room 14 (Family) - Evans (with enough space for a party!!)
However now we have the family room it's probably more sensible to do...
Room 10 (Double) - Drakey
Room 3 (Single) - Dogsbody
Room 1 (Single) - Evans
Room 5 (Twin) - Steve & Dan Solo
Room 14 (Family) - Red & Merry
