Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 14:49 14 Jan 07 Darren, I would be worried about you doing it, you don't do that much distance. I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't just that it worries me Embedding gravatar.com icons in the Goodwood Roller Marathon site to give each racer a unique avatar that they can change if they want. - Twitter Status

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 16:04 02 Mar 07 I'm torn between registering or not! I'm not a bike... and it's £28!

I think I have decided to do this for charity... In fact I will and I'll donate the £28 to it myself. Now do I do it for the British Heart Foundation, it is their event!

Anyone else getting sponsored?

han_man, I changed the link in your post to the correct one as your link pointed to a porn site!!

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 17:10 02 Mar 07 The URL was very close to the official one so it was an honest mistake.

Definitely not my sort of porn, I can send you all some links for that though if you want!!

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 17:30 02 Mar 07 yikes.. well back to the subject of good clean family charity events...

I agree it is a steep entrance fee, just wasnt sure if we might get grief from cyclists or anyone for not officially entering. bit of time to decide anyway..

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 21:06 02 Mar 07 I haven't done this ride for about six years but I wouldn't worry about not registering if you don't want to. It's all on public roads (some closed to cars) so no one's going to give you any hassle. They used to have a limit of 30,000 official entrants but these always fill up really quickly so there are usually just as many unofficial riders - especially if the weather's nice. To be honest, being an official entrant was always a pain at the beginning too. You'd end up queueing for ages whilst they try and funnel you over the start line. We used to skip it and start around the corner.
