Re:Le Mans 2008 - 28 & 29th June 2008 - 15:34 26 Jun 08 Retry, Chill! It will be fine, this'll be the fourth time I do this drive and even if we do get lost it doesn't matter! I have just downloaded brand new French maps for my sat nav so don't spent any money on extra maps. We used 10 year old maps the first time we did it and still found the place

lemmings_sister, We are doing Caen to Le Mans so as long as the sun stays in the same place we should be fine

Re:Le Mans 2008 - 28 & 29th June 2008 - 18:24 26 Jun 08 Beside that's half the fun. Last year we lost Max and he neded up in front of us LOL !!

It's pretty straight road so no real dramas.

Re:Le Mans 2008 - 28 & 29th June 2008 - 14:19 28 Jun 08 A BIG THANK YOU TO ELRIC

Appartently the Cskate Orange Asbox went down a Storm in Le Mans!!!

Dogsbody carried it round for the lap of the circuit at the end of the Street skate (for those who have been you know what I mean!) and appartently he attracted ALOT of attention Red guesses there were about 100 photo taken of him on phones, cameras etc etc

He also meantioned it was LOUD!!! (they turned it up full blast!)

They also used it for last nights camping meal so its proving pretty useful

So its a BIG THANK YOU TO ELRIC from all at Cskate and those currently in a very hot Le mans!

The race should have started now BTW! GO CAMBERLEY!
I\'ll NEVER post on the forums

LOL So that's why his neighbours were upset when he set it up?

Nice one Elric.

Re:Le Mans 2008 - 28 & 29th June 2008 - 21:45 28 Jun 08 Thanks Merry but not needed, It's the least I can do for everyone at Camberley who have made me feel very welcome to be part of your amazing group.

Good luck to you all, I wish I could have been there.

We are sitting in our hotel room... well we are all in Red's room!!

Red: Personal Bests
Kingol: Uhrrr (he's tired)
Bitwobbly: Better
Lemming: Slow
Freeman: Fast
Moules: Muscles (cos he has found some he never knew he had)
Dave: Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Dogsbody: Better organisers

Re:Le Mans 2008 - 28 & 29th June 2008 - 13:42 02 Jul 08 Well done everyone, we did ourselves proud
Looks like the secret is to not bother with any training and we’ll place better than last year, lol!!

Hope you all enjoyed it... thanks for tolerating my headless chicken organising. Hope it wasn’t too chaotic...

And thanks for letting me do the start… that was a real buzz doing the first back-to-back lap, was funny to be stood there and stick out a mile amongst all the lycras while waiting to get my skates on...

So who's organising next years then?!?!
