Tesco Sport for Schools and Clubs 2007 - 09:27 11 Sep 07

Camberley Skaters are again taking part in the Tesco Sport for Schools and Clubs scheme in 2007. We are collecting vouchers to exchange them for FREE sports equipment which can easily be used for skating, from basketballs to whistles and not forgetting hockey equipment.

The scheme is running from the 10th September until 4th November 2007. You can help by collecting Sport for Schools and Clubs vouchers whenever you shop at Tesco. One voucher is given for every £10 spent in Tesco stores, petrol filling stations and when buying your groceries online. One voucher is given for every £5 spent in Tesco Express stores. Ask your nearest Tesco store if you would like more details.

Please give any Tesco Sport vouchers to Dogsbody or Merry.

Thank you to all of you that have saved these up for us.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to spend the vouchers on? If we are lucky we'll have just under 1000 vouchers. You can see the catalogue HERE.

The "Stereo CD/Radio Cassette Player" or one of the first aid kits may be good for the winter sessions! Ooo, could "Tag Rugby" work on skates!?

Other ideas from me (so I don't have to look them all up again)

- Mitre Ball Pump
- Sport Timer
- Aluminium Relay Batons
- Stopwatch

Thats the good thing about skating..you don't need alot of Equipment!

Anyway other ideas and some the same from me :
Open Reel Tape 100m
Shoot Case - Could only afford one but maybe good for outdoor practice..or maybe a waste of vouchers

Barrier Tape - For Goodwood but it would be expensive!
Stereo CD/Radio Cassette Player - but do get free use of it at Sandhurst
Multipurpose first aid kit
Air Horn - Goodwood?
Heart Rate Monitor - Could be a Raffle prize
Mitre Ball Pump with Pressure Gauge
Sport Timer
Wheely Bag - save Dogsbody carrying the ball..
Space Markers and Holder
Playground Marker Cones 23cm - Might do just to make area off at goodwood
Playground Marker Cone 45cm - Goodwood again
