3rd Annual Cskate CHRISTMAS MEAL! - 14:40 06 Sep 07 Yes I know it feel like we haven't had a summer this year! and surely she
can't be talking about Christmas already..but alas I am

Restaurants have their menus out (I found out today one has already had theirs out for 2 months!!!) and once again I'm conscious with (hopefully) such a large party we need to Book up ASAP!

So....Whos up for the THIRD (is it really 3 years!) Cskate Christmas meal???

As I have started planning this a little early this year I am proposing 2 dates for people to give preference on..

Wednesday 5th December or Friday 7th December 7.30-8ish

Hopefully not to near Christmas and missing maybe work do's etc..Any comments welcome?!

I have the usual idea for venues but any suggestions would be great:
Ideas include-

Bluebeckers - Eversley - Do a set Christmas menu for £22.95 for three courses (http://www.blubeckers.co.uk/) - £10 per person non refundable
deposit

Heron on the lake - Fleet - Christmas Menu £22.25 for 4 courses - £5 per person non refundable deposit. Menu

The de Havilland Arms - Elvetham heath - Christmas Menu £17.95 for 3 course - non refundable deposit required unsure of amount
Menu

Crab and Anchor - Southwood, Farnborough - 3 course - 2 menu options for either 19.95 Menu (part 1) or 26.95 Menu (part 2)

The Ely - Blackwater Christmas Party Menu - £18.95 for 4 course HOWEVER if we can get in on a friday night there is a Marquee and Disco till Midnight. This has an extra charge of £5.00 per person but could be fun! Please see Part 1 of The Ely menu for details. (I found out today there menu have been out for 2 months so Friday night for 20+ maybe to late to book....I'll keep you posted)

So who would be up for this?!

And any suggestion or preference from the list above for a venue? Everyone is of course invited so please invite people who are not on the forums and partners, Monkeys etc..... - The more the merrier - but obviously I will need to know numbers soon to book!

Obvisously at this stage I can't gaurentee we will get what we want but I can but try..

Retry - No Pref

ermm would prefer to do the Wednesday but either day is fine.

i dont mind where the restaraunt is

i liked last years one.

I doubt I'll bring anyone as I have no friends.

It's a long time between now and December, but I doubt i'll be bringing anybody.

Put me down please (down on the list, don't pick on me), either date is fine (slight preference for Friday as it's not a school night) and any of the pubs are fine (slight preference for Heron On The Lake 'cos they are nice there and the food is lovely and slight negative for the Crab and Anchor in Southwood)
