Re:Any more for Le Mans 08 - 22:47 11 Nov 07
It looks like 18 people have expressed an interest in total, not sure who wants to do pit crew.
I don't know how many people have confirmed by giving their deposit to Mansfield yet. I think the plan is once we have 10 people confirmed, one team will be entered with a second team entered if there are enough people to make it work. I don't think it will be critical that we have exactly 20 racers for a second team, we should be able to balance the people out between the two teams.
How are we doing for confirmed numbers Mansfield?
There seems to be a few people interested in going who haven't been before... if you're not sure what its all about, have a look at Freeman's video so you can see what you're letting yourself in for!

Previously, once the team(s) were entered, Dogsbody sent out a questionnaire asking what everyone wants to do with regards to transport, food, accommodation on the Sunday night etc. After that everything is booked and everyone pays a share of the costs.
Mansfield is taking a deposit of £40 for the team entry, and last year it worked out at £165 on top of that for everything included, ferries, insurance, hotel etc. People who volunteered to drive got a discount to cover them for petrol etc, and you could choose to sort your own food/transport/insurance if you wished. I don't know what it would cost this year, but I don't expect it would be dramatically different from last time.
Dogsbody, is it ok if I "borrow" from your questionnaire from last year? I think its defiantly worth trying to organise everything as a group like last year rather than everyone making their own ways there.
I'm up for putting out the questionnaire to find out what everyone wants to do, so we can then get ferries, cars etc sorted out.
Oh yeah, something else I thought of - we need a design for this years tee-shirt!
