I'm sure someone will be along shortly with the advice you need

Re:Introduce yourself! - 23:50 23 Nov 07 Hi TTaylor and welcome to the site.

Seeing as I have just talked to you on IM I won't repeat anything here and let others recommend any skates
In Vauxhall for the roller disco. Impressive setup. Now it's time to get my groove on - Twitter Status

Re:Introduce yourself! - 20:55 26 Nov 07 Hmmm, those would be my two first stops too, might be worth giving CBR a call as their website is shocking. Otherwise just work your way through the shops in the weblinks section In Vauxhall for the roller disco. Impressive setup. Now it's time to get my groove on - Twitter Status

Re:Introduce yourself! - 09:46 26 Mar 08 Hi,
I've just moved to the area and couldn't believe my luck in finding this site!! I used to live in London and learned to skate with Skate Fresh last year. I've completed several sunday strolls but have been highly depressed since moving out to Surrey as I thought that was my skating life cut short with no one to skate with and no where to go
Enough of the sob story. I'd really appreciate some friendly advice on where you guys meet / skate etc. I work in Camberley and with the clocks changing at the weekend am keen to get out as much as possible after work.
So if you don't mind a relative newbe tagging along give me a shout, I'll have a go at anything and am not afraid of falling on my face
Cheers
K.

Re:Introduce yourself! - 10:08 26 Mar 08 Hi Kirsti welcome to cskate you have come to the right place we are all sorts of abilities
As far as places to skate there is a regular Saturday indoor session 17.00-18.30 at Camberley Arena leisure centre http://www.cskate.co.uk/content/view/28/80/
Through the summer we meet up for the occasional skates around Camberley or a few other nearby places that are good for outdoor skating and its usually organised via the forums...
A few of us regularly go up for the Weds londonskate too
Maybe see you soon.

Re:Introduce yourself! - 12:17 26 Mar 08 Welcome Kirsti.

Mansfield has given you all the relevant info. We do have mid-week indoor skates sessions too but unfortunately they've just finished as we only run them for 6 months to cover the period when there is no wednesday skate.

Yes you're right, there's still 2 weeks until the London weds night skate starts, but that gives us 2 weeks to get back outside and get ourselves into shape after all the easter eggs

Keep your eyes peeled on this website for meet-ups and the like.

Hope to see you soon

Red.
