Eastbourne Extreme 2005 16th-17th July - 19:37 16 Nov 04 As you can see the name has changed, similar format to last year but with other water based sports included as well!!
those bearings are gonna suffer, so better get our rooms booked pronto

most of last years activities will be present such as the night skate and roller disco, indoor hockey, and various demo's.

not sure of the politics over this one but apparently Tim Wheals is not involved this time, which is a shame especially after producing the CD of the event for last year.

so all enquiries to Eastbourne Council.

see you all there. you know it's worth it

Re:Eastbourne Extreme 2005 16th-17th July - 01:12 17 Nov 04 I very nearly had to fall out with my family! I had a horrible thought that there was a family wedding on that weekend!! luckily it's the weekend after!

I'm looking forward to this after missing out last year!

Do they have a website??

When are people traveling down & back?

Dan

Re:Eastbourne Extreme 2005 16th-17th July - 13:56 17 Nov 04 Currently planning to do Friday to Sunday but may have accomodation sorted out via National Skate Patrol. Haven't managed to make it down yet but I skated Eastbourne last summer - v.nice seafront surface and nice bunch of skaters in that neck of the woods! Jagshemash!

Re:Eastbourne Extreme 2005 16th-17th July - 19:02 17 Nov 04 Hmm, this is just the sort of whacky thing I could to do to celebrate my 40th (well 2 weeks early).

Yep me likes the idea of skates, seafront and party. What more could a person ask for?

The only downside is I guess the beer would be my shout - boo

Re:Eastbourne Extreme 2005 16th-17th July - 22:58 17 Nov 04 Well at least you won't be drinking alone!
i'll get the details of the hotel we stayed in last year, there was nine of us there, so we kinda took over the whole place

i have to say a roller disco is the best way to celebrate a fortieth

Re:Eastbourne Extreme 2005 16th-17th July - 20:29 29 Nov 04 Ok haven't got through to book rooms yet, but just to let you know there are only two single rooms and 4 twin rooms, the rest are doubles, so it all depends how friendly you want to be, prices are £28 per night for singles and £56 per night for doubles, with a single paying £42 per night in a double/twin room the web site is www.gladwynhotel.com if you want to view the rooms and facilities.

can't wait!
