FAQ's required - 16:42 20 Jan 08 Instead of reviving a very old thread from 2005 I thought I should start a new one for all the new people we now have FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) are a great way to attract new people to this site and save having the same questions asked again on the forums.

Here is a list of FAQ's that I can see need to be done, please feel free
- Elvetham Heath
- Farnham Roller Disco
- Any events in the Calendar that hasn't already got an FAQ
- Different types of skating
- Buying Skates (a buyers guide)
- LFNS
- Sunday Stroll
- General Skate Maintenance
- Any courses anyone has done
- Anything else that you think might be useful to new or old skaters

There are also a couple of existing FAQ's that may want updating a little.

If you want to write an FAQ you can either do it online through Submit Stuff or write it in your favourite program and e-mail it to me, I will put it online with your name on it and you will have access to tweak it in the future.

If anyone has any suggestions for FAQ's but can't write them themselves then please post up in this thread

Thank you

Re:FAQ's required - 22:55 22 Jan 08 Sunday Stroll in the post.
I don't think I'm experienced enough for the others
If anyone has any simple FAQ's they want then please shout as I'm currently billy no mates, sitting in a bar in Tunisia and need something to relieve the boredom.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Re:FAQ's required - 00:47 23 Jan 08 Thanks elric

I would have thought you could do (or perhaps even just part do) the buyers guide to skates. Perhaps even start up a new thread for it to get peoples ideas and then put them into an FAQ entry. Just an idea.

None of these FAQ's need to be long but just nice introductions to the subject and perhaps links to more information. That way new visitors to the site won't be scared off when we talk about "Goodwood" or "LFNS"
