Just to let you know some results...
For speed slalom I came 3rd in the womens category! Very excited to get on the podium! Only entered speed for a laugh coz I never actually practice it!
For freestyle slalom...
1st = Chloe Seyres (who else!)
2nd = Fanny (also from France...sorry I cant remember her surname)
3rd = Naomi Grigg
4th = Miriam (I think she was German but cant remember her surname either)
5th = me!!!!
(there were 12 girls who entered in total)
It was a fantastic weekend. Got to meet loads of new skaters and catch up with old faces. The Germans were excellent hosts and the floor was very much like sandhurst to skate on as it was a school hall! I ache all over now so I think I'm going to jump into a nice hot bath!
Thanks also to Dogsbody, Darren, Lemming and I think even MCS who after watching me skate last week offered some excellent advice on a trick I was doing...we get a chance to do a 'final trick' in the semi finals after the runs and after adjusting that move (back screw) during practice I managed to pull it off on the day!!
