Links - 21:38 16 Nov 04 Hi, Dan.

As mentioned on Saturday, I've just added a link to Camberley Skaters on the danskate.com website links page. When I get a bit of time I'll move it closer to the top. Any chance of a link on here to my site in the "Instructors" heading?

Cheers

Dan.

Re:Links - 00:56 17 Nov 04 No problem at all, link has been added

Thank you for the link back, I still have to buy a domain for this site! Have you done the poll yet?

Dan

Re:Links - 09:15 17 Nov 04 Yeah. I think I chose "Surreyskaters". We had a problem when we set up South Wales Skaters in that we were thinking of calling it "Cardiff Skaters" but it seemed that people from Swansea, Newport might not have thought they were included. South Wales actually ended up encompassing Bristol and Bath too - perhaps we should have called it South West Skaters?!?

Anyhow, if it's only a local organisation for local people then I reckon Camberley Skaters is fine. I don't think there's anyone else in Surrey doing this at the mo so making the site Surrey Friendly might be a good idea.

Hmmm, I like that idea, the only problem is that i wanted to encompas the Fleet lot too and they are in Hampshire... and the Berkshire border is a mile away from the Arena too!

We can't eaven say South Eastern Skaters, how about just Sothern Skaters!!??

Re:Links - 12:57 17 Nov 04 That's why I ended up using danskate for my own site. It doesn't give geographical predjudice, it's easy to remember and people tend to remember my name if they've looked at it!

Other ideas around the time were things like skateattack.com, skatetrix.com, recskating.com etc etc. More options probably just makes the decision process longer though so sorry!!

Re:Links - 13:40 17 Nov 04 another option could be Tricountyskate.co.whatever, that would encompass the three counties with out being specific to one.
