Re:Cskate asbox - 23:50 30 Mar 08 It was not loud, I think this neighbour would moan if I had headphones on, OH BOY has she got a suprise coming When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Re:Cskate asbox - 07:00 31 Mar 08 Watch the bike battery. They don't hold their charge as well as car batteries ('cos they're smaller). I charge mine at least once a month over winter or they die. If it arrives and doesn't work, get it to me if you want 'cos I have an expensive trickle charger which will be our best bet of getting it going. ! Skate Monkey !

Re:Cskate asbox - 19:27 01 Apr 08 Small update.
Amp arrived today, I have shown the old, the new and a CD to give an idea of size, I'm much happier with the weight.

We now have a rucksack, thanks to Bit Wobbly.

Help required, PM me if you want to help with the following:
Any one who enjoys a bit of sewing.
Any one fancy a small electronic design project?

Re:Cskate asbox - 20:28 01 Apr 08 I can help out with the electronics - I might even be able to use the lab at work for PCB making! What do you need?

Re:Cskate asbox - 22:04 09 Apr 08 Thanks to;
MCS, for delivering the rest of the parts I needed.
Chez, for the speakers.
Merry, for the speakers,
DB, for the batteries and Mic bits etc.

I tried both sets of speakers, initially Merry's sound better BUT I think that is down to them being already boxed, Chez's speakers work fine, I tested them completely unboxed sitting on a surface on their backs. I am going to go with Chez's speakers because once boxed I think they will be the better speaker for this project. I have started to cut wood so we shall soon find out.
Merry, do you want yours back?, if not I'll put them to one side and probably make a MKII later on.

DB, MCS has warned me to be careful when trying to recharge your battries and so I have not tried, do you know what conditions they should be recharged under? I am not going to worry to much about the mic as I think we can work that out later and input it into either the same jack or I'll make another one in parallel.
Oh I did get a small motorbike batterry and it looks like 3A hour, it works but I just don't know how long it will last.

You are welcome to keep the speakers - they were heading to the Dump so I won't be offended if you use them or dump them
I\'ll NEVER post on the forums

HERE is the spec for the two batteries you have.

HERE is their technical manual, pages 18 to 27 cover charging... in quite a lot of detail
