I noodle on the guitar, used to play in bohica (long story) , released an album "no apologies", now moved on to a less stressful project, kinda of Queens of the Stone Age with some Moog synth in for good measure! Cool Just been listening to Bohica, what's the new project?? Getting increasingly hooked on captionx.com , try it, you may like it! - Twitter Status

Started when I was 7 or 8 with the expanding strap onto your shoes type. Then when I was 16 bought myself a pair of proper californian style skates, brown suede, cuban heels, with huge orange wheels and big oversized stops. They were brilliant, hurt my feet like hell but looked the bizz ness.
Used to skate at Rushmoor and Camberley leisure centers at the weekend and on the streets, farnborough half pipe etc... most days.
I then had an offer of some Bauer skates at a ridiculous price and grabbed the chance, selling my beloved cal skates to a mate. That was when I started to really shift on a pair of skates, forwards, backwards sideways! You name it I tried it. Jumps, spills, thrills and being towed at 40mph behind my mates motorbike are just some of the crazyness I used to get up to on eight wheels.
I haven't skated for about 10 years now and after chatting to some ex members of Starlight Express last night I went up into the loft and retrieved my skates, dusted them down and now want to use them again.
So anyone know of a regular event where I can speed skate?! Want to get back into shape and really fly again!
So obviously having now looked about I know of the skating at Camberley Arena and Fleet, so will have to try and get along to one or other of these sessions and get match fit again!

Pop along to Camberley on a Saturday or to our last session at Sandhurst tomorrow night if you can make it All info in in the FAQ sections BTW Fleet unfortantly stoped last year due to the floor being changed to an 'unskateable' surface I\'llNEVERpostontheforums
