20 second bit of music - 00:20 24 Feb 08 I'm going to revitalise the video finish for Goodwood if I can this year. The same idea with each person being shown a 20 second clip of them crossing the line.

This year I thought I could add a 20 second clip of music to go with it but what to use? Any ideas?

Or even better, anyone have musical tendencies and can record their own 20 seconds that we can use? Something that reaches a crescendo at the 10 second mark as they cross the finish line would be fab! Would really quite like to watch every episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer but that would be over 5 days of my life to watch! - Twitter Status

Re:20 second bit of music - 18:38 24 Feb 08 Perhaps slightly cheesy using a classical music piece but what about the ending of the 'Bolero' when it builds up quite fast & loud? Can send the track to you if you wanna hear it.

But then I actually thought of something useful, has lots of slow parts towards the beginning and a really strong ending, you could put people across the finish line in sync with cannon being fired.

Now I must ignore the fun coding and get back to the boring coding to sort out registration!

Re:20 second bit of music - 13:26 25 Feb 08 Some time ago I bought a couple of CD's that had short pieces on which I think were aimed at this kind of thing. I'll dig them out and have a listen. There may also be no copyright issues either.

I'll also ask my son (not Tom) if he can write somnething. He does occasionally put his mind to writing a piece of music
