Will still need some "toons" for getting there, back and bits we do on our own.

Gonna try and fit the action cam to it too. Elric I hope your coming!!!

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Re:Sky Sports London Freewheel - 21st Sept 2008 - 21:15 08 Sep 08 If I remember correctly, last year the roads were closed from 10am to 4pm.

I think we probably started from Hyde Park at around 11am, finishing at Hyde Park around 4pm.

Do not know yet the Freewheel arrangements for this year, so there is little we can arrange yet. Some of it is probably dependent on StevieB's arrangements for the music as we are borrowing a radio link to him.

Re:Sky Sports London Freewheel - 21st Sept 2008 - 22:08 08 Sep 08 Generally speaking it's turn up and leave at any time.

If a bunch of us are skating in from Ravenscourt Park then we should probably meet at a set time to skate in together.

I *think* StevieB is planning on something like 1pm at Hyde Park Corner for the sound system meetup.

Re:Sky Sports London Freewheel - 21st Sept 2008 - 13:30 11 Sep 08 Another e-mail from the organisers. One thing to note is that we now pick up our official hi-vis vest/bib from the Sky Sports marquee at one of the hubs.

Details have been released about the Ravencoute Park Hub

And they also have lead cycle rides into the route. The one from Richmond could be fun. It goes via the Ravenscourt Hub although it would be a few extra miles
