Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 10th August 2008 - 13:34 13 May 08 They seem to have a web site with an address (through Google), but it appears to have been hacked. Both Google and AVG (antivirus) warn that it is unsafe. May be useful to tell them about that Peter.

Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 10th August 2008 - 14:05 13 May 08 Ouch, yeah, they have been hacked quite badly! Luckily it looks like malicious scripts that have been injected into the site are no longer working but it's still not good.

They are actually running the same software that runs this website (Joomla) so if I can help in any way please tell them to give me a shout. Had a very quiet, relaxing but fun time at Eastbourne Extreme. Oh I do like to be beside the sea side. - Twitter Status

I can't believe you are as unfit as me. I have only just restarted skating outside with inlines after a winter lay off. four miles of steady skating and absolutely everything aches. But a couple of weeks ago I was aching after only 2 miles.

So the answer to your lack of fitness is the same as me - just keep plugging away at it.

I sent a copy of the flyer to their club secretary on the off chance... If he enjoys the event he might drag a few more along next year.

Plymouth RHC are still promising 30 skaters. Lets hope they live up to it.

I think we have definately improved on publicity this year compared to previous years! Especially with people around the country like yourself helping us out

Registration is going VERY well and a group of 30 would sure make us happy

Registration is going great at the moment. We sent off 100 poster packs a while back to all the skate shops that we knew of as well as various sports clubs, gyms and libraries and have already had people sign up because they saw details in Fitness First!!

Peter we took on board your feedback from last year and made sure that all the poster packs went out before the price went up. Remember everyone, the price goes up in two weeks! Had a very quiet, relaxing but fun time at Eastbourne Extreme. Oh I do like to be beside the sea side. - Twitter Status
