Re:Introduce yourself! - 22:15 14 Jun 06 I am coming down South to go to Oxford University for a masters. I am a lawyer and always seem to have jobs down South. Actually I have an affection with basing myself there when I start work properly

for godsake pls don't confuse me by asking me where Oxford is in relation to Goodwood because my geography is rubbish.

Anyway, I'm based in Reading, which is MUCH better than Camberley.

Re:Introduce yourself! - 09:48 11 Jul 06 I thought I'd introduce myself, albeit belatedly, having posted regularly on here for a couple of months now.

I caught a very bad case of the skating bug in March of this year when my girlfriend bought me some skates. I must admit skating has become something of an obsession, not least because I've got more time on my hands than I'm accustomed to. I've just qualified as a barrister and have some time off before starting. What better way to pass the day?

The main trouble I have is that I want to learn everything. I've been going (ambling if truth be told) down the freestyle route, but sliding is eating my wheels faster than I can afford to replace them! I'm also slowly but surely being seduced by speed skates. I think that one will have to burn for a year or two before I do anything about it.

Anyway, I like Cskate - I've found out lots of useful stuff here. None of my friends skate and are bemused by my new found obsession. So its nice to have somewhere to go on about skating!

Hopefully meet some of you at some point on a streetskate.
