Hey guys!
I'm new to the area and I'd like to start again with training.
I'm especially interested in speed, so I've been looking at LSST's website, but many training locations are quite far away.
I live in Slough and work in Bracknell, so Camberley sounds not too far.
Little bit about myself: I'm a 23yr-old French guy, I've always skated a bit for fun, and discovered what speed could be when doing Le Mans with my fitness skates and seeing those crazy guys overtaking me at twice my speed.
In summer 2005 I was in Germany and started training in a club there, with my first 5-wheelers. And then back in France I've trained again, in Nantes and then Paris during 1 year.
So my speed experience is only 2005-2006 but was quite intense, with about 6 marathons + Le Mans.
I plan on bringing my skates here after Easter and start training a bit. I'll probably first check the track around the rowing stuff near Windsor. Then maybe in week-ends with LSST in Hyde park... and maybe a bit with you guys some time some place.
But first I'll need some new micro-bearings, coz last time I skated it was pretty damp, and they must be rusty  I'll start a new thread in the equipment part.
If anyone of you wants a training partner around Windsor/Slough, send me an email or call me!
And also I might be interested in the Goodwood marathon.
