Re:Introduce yourself! - 21:46 26 Mar 07 Hi. My name is Lee Marshall, aka Emacle from UrbanSkaters. My style of skating is Street (aka Freeride, but not aggressive). I enjoy skating with a group through the streets of London, around Paris or any other city I find myself in. I started skating 4 years ago (or it may be 5). 2 years ago I passed my inline skate instructor course and now teach other people to skate at the weekends and bank holidays.

During the Summer I like to organise a midnight skating events through London or Paris. A group of skaters, a map and hours of skating, just for the hell of it.

Looking forward to making lots of new friends here.

Hi Merry. Yeah, I'm sure I'll fit in just fine here. I do have a tendancy to dissapear for a while though, so don't be upset if I stop posting or replying for a while.. It's just my nature

I've not met D yet, but I'm sure we'll catch up sometime between now and the L2B skate. I was going to do that skate last year, but the guy I organised it with went ahead and did it on his own with some other people. Was pretty off putting to be honest, haven't spoken to him since and have been away from the skating scene since also. I'm back now though, ready to rumble

I was at Saturday's afternoon Arena session which I found out about from this site (I was the guy learning to skate backwards in aggressive skates with the absorbed look of concentration). I'm told it's usually more busy but some people were watching some sporting event...

I learned to skate at uni but haven't really done any more since I left, mainly due to lack of skate-inclined friends around here. I enjoy free skating more than anything else despite the skates I own - I'm not brave/stupid enough to jump on/off high stuff. I look forward to a bit more action now that I've found a community based in my town. Though it may come second to surfing during the summer...

I wasnt at the Arena this Sat but go every few weeks, outdoor skating tends to take over in the summer for me also...
