Re:Introduce yourself! - 15:52 26 Sep 07Hi everyone, Been skating for about 4 months now, still very much a newbie but I'm trying to keep about an hour every night for skating. I've done a few Sunday strolls and will (weather permitting) be heading for my first WNS tonight, shame it's the last one and then I'll try and grab 10 mins for a beer in the Vic before catching the trains home, that's if I can find it, If I make it round the skate I'll follow the crowd.
With the weather getting worse I'll probably join some of you at camberley soon. When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Re:Introduce yourself! - 16:06 27 Sep 07Thanks for the welcome. Yes DB I was there from about 8:20 till about 10:30 AKA Kevin, very short hair and a black hoodie.
Oh next time I leave the Vic after a few beers and it's dark, someone should remind me there is a sandy path that crosses the cycle lane in Hyde park just before the Serp road. "I found it"When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Re:Introduce yourself! - 08:13 01 Oct 07I'm sure that could be arranged Red, Perhaps I could wear the carnation along with jeans and a hoodie, winter is closing in after all. I thought I met every skater in the Vic that night, although I never ventured to any other rooms, I think there was about 8 of us sitting round a table.
BTW what do the Camberly skaters tops look like, where do I get one? When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
