BTW, not being facetious but what'll it be used for? To compliment the London set-ups or as a stand alone for cskate? This will definitely be for Cskate use. The idea is to make it as flexible as possible. That is, we can use it for music at the Winter Sessions, use it on Camberley Street Skates and even as a PA system for Goodwood. I'm sure it will even get used at London events such as the Freewheel or maybe even big events such as the Stanta/Bunny Street Skates but not every week.

Re:Cskate asbox - 19:03 16 Mar 08 Please DON'T bring your bits on Tuesday, sorry to say I can't make it
I'll be in China for two weeks after that so expect me to try and catch up with you after the 5th April.

Merry,
Please could you get one of the lads here to dismatle your speakers, I don't fancy trying to carry the boxes home on the train.

In the mean time I have aquired some speakers and a 3.5 mm jack plug so when I receive the amp at least I can make a start.
Yes I still want your surplus bits everyone, the more choice the better and what ever is left will go towards the MKII.

**EDIT*** I got out bidded on the rucksack

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

That's not a request is it, I'd need a bigger battery?

Update!
OMG the amp arrived and it is BIG, I have aquired some speakers to make sure it works and it's quite impressive, well alright it's not that impressive but it does work.
Considering it's size and weight I have just won another Ebay auction for another amp, the same model as used by London skaters in their boxes.
KOAC amp

I have started an album and have a couple of items in there so you can see how this project progresses.

A little birdy has told me that I might be able to twist your arm into delivering the bits and bobs people have over to me?
I'm sure there would be a cuppa tea or maybe a beer in it if you would.

Hey I like what you're doing.
Have PM'd you, but need the bits to get to me first.

Re:Cskate asbox - 21:47 30 Mar 08 I now have the rucksack, thanks to Bit Wobbly who brought it along to the Easter skate.
I have the amp arriving sometime soon from Hong Kong and I have a motor bike battery to collect, I don't know what condition it is in but is was working and then left over winter, it has not been recharged but fingers crossed it might be alright.

I need speakers please
Oh I also need new neighbours as one has already asked me to turn it down, they can go free but you will need to collect, perhaps I should put them on freecycle!

Re:Cskate asbox - 22:51 30 Mar 08 MCS now has all the bits apart from my bits!

I have two sealed lead acid batteries (BP7-12 (12V, 7AH/20HR)) and a couple of electronic projects from my youth which I doubt I'll ever use again so may as well be put to a good use. There is a VU meter in a box (not even sure why I built that) and a Low Z Microphone Pre-Amp, I even found the old data sheet build instructions I used. Feel free to rip all of them appart and use the bits that are of use.
