Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 10th August 2008 - 20:43 11 Aug 08 A big thank you to the organisers for a fantastic day. After skating for 18 years this was my first race and I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you to Ian & Jan MacLeod for telling me about it when skating at Dorney Lake. (2 weeks ago)

Also a big think you to the pacelines who helped me through the event. Cheryl Evans was in one of them on my 7th & 8th laps, but I couldn’t keep up after that!

My 10 year old son also managed to complete the mini and so we are looking forward to next year a great deal.

of such an amazing event - our first Goodwood where we both
achieved personal bests, despite that wind.

A huge 'thank you' to everyone who put in all the hard work to
make the day such a success.

Also congratulations to everyone who took part and thanks for the support and encouragement. What a great group of people skaters are!
