Skate London - 15-16 Aug 2009 in London - 04:32 01 Jan 09 This year the Battle UK competitions look to be moving down to London and will be held on 15-16 August 2009.

There will, however, be a yet unnamed freestyle competition in Nottingham in October 2009 that will house the UK National freestyle slalom competition.

Friday night - LFNS.

Saturday: in the venue, Westway sports centre, near latimer road, for the main event, including slalom battles (hopefully an international one, and a rookie one (ie, first timers, but first timers can also compete in the main one), and LSST organised speed & rat races, including hopefully a 24minute lemans race. In evening, food & possibly a streetskate.

Sunday: in the park (SR or Albert Memorial) for slide comp, jump comp, and maybe jam slalom battle, 1on1 fast showdown battle, and maybe even a skateboard slalom race toooooo... then, I think Stevie B made sounds about perhaps managing to score a venue for a party afterwards for us residents who wont have flown off? In Vauxhall for the roller disco. Impressive setup. Now it's time to get my groove on

On August 15 and 16, 2009 join the London in-line skating community and many international visitors in a fun action – packed weekend, Including:

- International Freestyle Slalom and Slalom Showdown Competitions
- High Jump and Sliding Competitions
- Speed races
- “Extremely Amateur” Street Roller-Hockey Tournament
