If I remember rightly, when we did the photshoot last year we were told that the course/lap record was under 1 minute - by an F1 car. But perhaps that is not what you meant

Good to see you plan to skate this year Dan.I finally had time to do one lap last year so I figured I would try and do two this year and actually enter the race!

im lookin forward to trying to beat the best ever time set around the course. by the way what is the the best time?????For the entire race (in which case which race) or for one lap?? In Vauxhall for the roller disco. Impressive setup. Now it's time to get my groove on

Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 9th August 2009 - 13:52 26 Mar 09 Speeeeeeed. It reminds me of the time when the inline speed skater used Goodwod as their UK Marathon championships.

They had a seperate start time. Some non-members muscled in in the race. there were a few unsavoury puhses and shoves as they approached thr finish. All very entertaining. They never came back to Goodwod to hold their championship again.

Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 9th August 2009 - 17:49 29 Mar 09 Went to Eastbourne today. Tim Wheals (Eastbourne Skate School) has 6 A4 poster + 80 A6 flyers he says he will hand out.

I also handed out about 20 flyers at a session Tom was at.

I have spoken to the skater who runs ESP skateshop in Chichester. I will take some flyers across on Saturday. He has already had people asking about Goodwood.
