Easterskate weekend - 10-13th April 2009 - 22:38 23 Feb 09 This years Easter Eggstravaganza (and entire weekend of skating while mostly dressed in bunny outfits) will be over 10-13th April 2009

Re:Easterskate weekend - 10-13th April 2009 - 09:20 27 Feb 09 Yup it was postponed due to bad weather one week, and the next week looked dodgy and then my washing machine freaked so I didn't go !

And I probably won't be able to go this year too as I'm due to have an operation the week before.

Re:Easterskate weekend - 10-13th April 2009 - 00:10 12 Mar 09 I just typed this in for someone else so I thought I would post it up here for those that may want to know more!

I'm afraid I know nothing official but I did see a message from someone wanting to organise things for the same time and they were told that the format will probably be exactly the same as last year.

If that is the case then the easter weekend will be something like...
- Friday - The Long Good Friday Night Skate (longer than usual)
- Saturday - Free skate lessons in Hyde Park
- Sunday - The Easter Sunday Bunny Stroll (fancy dress and probably a party at the vic afterwards)
- Monday - More free skate lessons and maybe some games (treasure hunt/egg and spoon) in Hyde Park

Quite looking forward to this!

Can I please have some volunteers to hand out Goodwood flyers at this weekend?

Last years event was attended by over 600 skaters and if we can possibly get people there on each of the four days then we can really catch a huge cross section of the skate community.

I would quite like to do the Easter Bunny Stroll as I missed it last year.
Anyone else have any plans for the weekends activities?
