Southampton Sustrans - 14th June 2009 - 13:44 07 Jun 09 PaulC (the maker of the Thumper soundsystems) has been asked by Sustrans (A charity encouraging people to cycle/skate) to provide some sound for a cycle ride they are organising.

Paul is taking both his Thumpers and would like the cambox to join in

Does anyone want to join me down in Southampton on the 14th June to either drive a thumper or carry the cambox??

And does anyone else want to come down and just have a fun skate/cycle along some lovely new cycle paths? Find me online: - http://www.dogsbody.info/

It would appear to be The Big Bike Celebration 2009, which takes place at Weston Shore on National Cycle Network Route 2. More info here.

Do we know what routes and surfaces are involved, as Cycle routes may not be smooth surfaced? Route 2 itself appears to be less than 1 mile along the seafront.

Re:Southampton Sustrans - 14th June 2009 - 19:54 07 Jun 09 The thumper sound systems are self powered so you don't actually have to push them, just steer them, in fact they can pull you along but then the power runs down quicker

I'm sure Paul has checked the area out for skatability, he is good like that
