I can't remember if I answered your question about barbecues Dan, they're fine, so long as we keep them on the hard standing of the parking bit and not on the grass.. so pitch your tent near the concrete!

I'm trying to put all the important info up on the skaters' info page of the website but keep asking any questions - they're helpful!
We are now getting towards being full up - I need to call a halt at 250 skaters, so if anyone else would like to skate please e-mail asap.
The fundraising is going really well. The most important bit of info is the reminder for everyone to bring WATER! There's no drinking water for us at the track so we must bring our own. They will have the toilet blocks open for us tho' so no worries there!

Have you seen the prizes on the website? They're brill! I've just put the details up. All skaters who raise £50 or more get into the prize draw and there will be three lucky winners.

Re:24hr Top Gear Ultraskate - April 10/11 - 16:04 16 Mar 10 Just had confirmation from Shelterbox today of the serial numbers of our first set of boxes that we've paid for, so they are going to be on their way very soon.

Here's some interesting information from Shelterbox, this year they sent 224 boxes to Egypt, 200 to Peru, 224 to Kenya all because of flooding. For earthquake survivors, they sent 200 to Malawi, 448 to Chile and so far Haiti has received 9,621!!! When I read that, it reminded me of the size of the disaster in Haiti.

The total we've raised so far on the JustGiving website is £6,454.02 not including gift-aid.

Even if you're not coming to skate you can help! Make a donation at http://www.justgiving.com/Skaiti24 or buy a Skai-tee, they are only £6.50 from http://www.actionforce.eu/skaitee and all proceeds go towards the fundraising.
