Web publishing software - 17:22 14 Feb 10 Query from a friend:
can you offer me any recommendations as to which web making program is a good one? I need to try and flog some pictures online to clear the cupboards out!

I know this isn't a great specification, and I'm trying to get some more information. Sadly my knowledge never really touched on web page design (well, not in the last 13 years) so I could knock up and html page with an email link and some pictures, but that would be about it.

Any obvious and free suggestions? ! Skate Monkey !

Re:Web publishing software - 20:08 14 Feb 10 Nowadays pretty much no one codes their own XHTML/CSS unless you have a real need as it's so easy to shoot yourself in the foot.

The best bet is a CMS type system that all come with WYSIWYG editors nowadays. Wordpress, Joomla and Gallery are all good systems that I would recommend. You may need someone techie to set them up but after that they are easy enough to use. In Vauxhall for the roller disco. Impressive setup. Now it's time to get my groove on

I'm not sure they've even got a domain yet! I'll send these on and have a quick look at them too. Hopefully I'll have more of an idea what they want to be able to include. ! Skate Monkey !
