Well Done! - 21:18 08 Aug 10 Well done everyone for today! Skaters, organisers and all the wonderful volunteers! Everyone I have spoken to has been full of praise for the day and everyone involve. Especial big thanks go to the "Senior" (Terrys choice of words earlier) organisers who had everything under control and running like clock work the whole time.

It all went super smoothly and was a "most excellent" day

Thank you the team for the as ever amazing running of the event. It goes from strength to strength...

Atmosphere was absolutely fantastic and the sheer numbers there made it lovely to skate along and have people all around you at whatever point on the track.
Good to see all the teams like Derby and Hockey clubs among the speed skaters and rec skaters - I dont know any other UK events where you see people turning up flying the flag for their various niches in the world of skating so visibly en masse, I'd like to hope it does a great job of promoting all sorts of skating to those who are pretty newbie to it.

Re:Well Done! - 16:31 09 Aug 10 I've not been on here for a long while, but definitely worth fishing out my log in details to say a huge thanks to everyone for putting on yet another fantastic Goodwood event.

From a non-organiser's point of view, everything went seamlessly, but of course there's hard work, sweat and sometimes blood that goes into it.

Clearly a success so again, thank you very much!

I have heard nothing but praise from folk who raced, watched or did both.

You guys you are all amazing, I had so such a fantastic and would really like to thank you all for the massive amount of hard work you put into to making the Goodwood Marathon my favorite skating event, it was truly outstanding.

I am looking foward to next year already.
