Re:Santa Skate - 18th Dec 2010 - 14:07 07 Jan 11 A message from Santa

Firstly let me say that words cannot describe how disappointed myself and the trusty reindeers are feeling right now.

Throughout 2010 the SantaSkate was something we looked forward to dearly. To be unable to run it in all of it's glory in the days before Christmas has been a huge blow to all of us involved.

After much discussion with the elves we feel that to run the SantaSkate now would be lacking the revelry and Christmas cheer that the occasion deserves and it would be far better to wait for December 2011. This has been a very hard decision to make but one we hope you will support us in.

We would like to massively thank all that have supported streetskating in London by making a donation to the cause. Every penny of the money raised will go right back into keeping the weekly skates of 2011 free, fun, safe and sexy, so a huge well done to you all.

I hope you all understand, it has been quite a ride watching the organisers try and come up with plan after counter-plan.

I hope you won't but if anyone would like their money back then please let me know by Monday when I'll be sending all our donations off the the LondonSkate. They have worked hard for this money and while it's a shame we didn't get a SantaSkate out of it you can get your money's worth by joining all of the free skates throughout the summer
Still grinning from an awesome @LondonSkate last night :-D Such a party atmosphere - Twitter Status
