London Sky Ride - 5th Sept 2010 - 12:05 03 Jul 10 Another date for the diary! 5th Sept 2010 is the London Sky Ride.

Another day of fun and loud soundsystems

Unfortunately it clashes with the London to Windsor bike ride that I was thinking if skating

Re:London Sky Ride - 5th Sept 2010 - 07:27 27 Aug 10 Hmm would like to go.....depends on a few things though. I'll keep you posted.

Does that mean you're going to this rather than the London to Windsor??

Re:London Sky Ride - 5th Sept 2010 - 11:20 28 Aug 10 I intend to go.

Don't think I have missed one yet since it started as the Hovis Freewheel.

I do hope we can get a few people together for this.

Cambox

Any more?

Dogsbody said last night the 'sound' is meeting at the Wellington Arch at 12-12.30 for a 1pm set off so I think we are aiming to join them and get a receiver for the Cambox

Re:London Sky Ride - 5th Sept 2010 - 00:07 03 Sep 10 Not sure what others think but if we aim to get there at 12:30-1pm it'll all be over as it starts to shutdown at 4:30. If we are going to make a day of it I'd suggest getting there a bit earlier and having some lunch up there while we wait for the other soundsystems (we know they will be late)

I know a couple of people expressed an interest in not skating in from Ravenscourt park this year which also may be a good idea as it looks like the route is a lot bigger this year. I'd almost say that one lap is almost a LondonSkate! I dunno if anyone has any parking suggestions!? I have ping'd Paul (with the Thumpers) to see where he was planning on parking.

I now have four Cambox batteries so plan on putting it on very LOUD if I can find others to carry the spares or find somewhere to stash them
