Spent the day in London getting about on a B.o.r.r.i.s. Barclays Bike, cheaper than the underground and a great way to see the city! - Twitter Status

Going shopping on Friday for anything that will match my skates... It will have to double as my halloween getup!

Re:Bath to Bristol Fancy Dress Charity Skate 9 Oct 10 - 17:46 07 Oct 10 OK it appears we have:-
Car 1
Me
Dogsbody,
Sam17
Driver Sapphire

Car 2 - Full
Liz
Emily
Red
Liz's bike

Sapphire has offered to drive me there and back while she spends the day looking round the antiquities (or shops) of Bath. If anyone else wants to come we will review the options.

Event starts at Bath Spa Station at 11. Because of parking and access problems in Bath my intention was to join at the beginning of the Railway path proper at Brassmill Lane (about 2 miles from Bath centre). If we are early enough we could try to follow the route back to the railway station. My intention is to skate back from the Bristol end of the railway path (St Phillips Road) to Brassmill Lane. (Think it is 13.5 miles each way)

Not sure what time we will finish. I will take lunch with me although there may be options in the villages we pass through. Depending on timing back at Bath, we may stop for a meal afterwards.

Proposal is to leave Camberley at 8.30. We need to head for the M4 so would like to start from my place in Camberley, heading down the A30 to Blackbushe.
Sam... can you make it somewhere on that route for 8.30? If you need my address I will PM you.
DB... going that direction so we can divert to collect you.

Don't forget us......Sorry I didn't know you were going, but pleased you are. I asked you last Saturday, but didn't know you'd made a decision. My last post edited.

Where are you starting the B2B from? Bath station or Brassmill Lane? Do you want to convoy down there? There is free parking close to Brassmill Lane. Sapphire will park at the Park & Ride, which is quite close, and catch a bus to Bath.

.....As Tom mentioned, this is a charity event so if you are participating please make a contribution to this fabulous charity to get yer name on the list.

.....and don't forget your fancy dress. LOL
