Re:Eastbourne Extreme 05 - Afterwards - 15:14 18 Jul 05 Well well....what can I say! Haven't had such an amazing weekend in a VERY long time! Many thanks to the Eastbourne lot for tackling the council allowing the event to take place. So glad I came down friday with everyone (I will square up finances as and when I see people e.g accommodation costs & T-shirt ) Look forward to many more events with you all! I need to sort out dates to book off work early next year

Cant wait till next year (Max there better be an event next year! or else!)

Not quite sure what to do with myself this afternoon...feel like I should be racing down the coastal roads on skates (although weather not quite so good today!)

I think I've been very lucky to escape blisters, cuts (hows your eye red?), bruises, sun burn etc etc Only got a slight sore patch at back of ankle! Miss you all already xxxxx

.... one of the highlight must have been trying to keep up with Merry along the front on the way to the Roller Disco at break neck speed. Possible recruit for the speed skating team leming - but you may have to ply her with Vodka before each race, she's fast though, very fast.

Oh yes - we got some photos, they are just going through 'censorship' as soon as all 'participants' have had the chance to ask for any particular photo to be removed, they will be posted.

Re:Eastbourne Extreme 05 - Afterwards - 16:25 18 Jul 05 did anyone from camberley skaters get any pictures to put in gallerys?Oh there are lots of pictures to be posted up but i think they are being censored first!

well done to darren for comming 5th in the limbo! Darren pretty much came second, it was fantastic to watch.

Darren, you should start entering these comps. Particulary the slalom, there is a UK championship and you would be up there with the best of them.

Did Camberley have a team in the tug of war this year? Sorry, I had to leave I was sooo tired, almost crashed the car on the way home

Had a bit of a fall - own fault, too much booze, and way too much fun !!

Mind you, it did mean I was escorted home by 2 men Best of all it meant I got a kiss and hug from Max when I next saw him..... swoon !!
