Apparently they have looked again at my x-ray from A&E. Guess what - They have found a fracture, according to a conversation with my GP today.

Well that's seven weeks so far sitting around getting nowhere. "No wonder you are still having problems moving around and are in pain!" was the comment from the GP.

Awaiting further news from the GP when they have found out more from Frimley Park. Probably next stop Fracture Clinic.

Re:MCS - 15:14 19 Dec 11 I saw specialist today. Current thinking is as it is (slowly) improving, then leave it to see how it progresses.

Hip replacement operation which was booked for this week is now cancelled.

Continue physio and see specialist again end of January.

It is more likely that I would be able to continue skating on my own hip joint than on a replacement. I have lost about 17/18mm of length in the left leg, and the leg has rotated (so my foot points out). The foot angle could also make it tricky for skating.
