News and FAQ's! - 20:59 05 Aug 05
I am really excited about this as I am hoping this will really improve the usefulness of this site! I would like to launch the FAQ section.
Unfortunately there really isn't anything to show you yet as part of the fan fair but that's because you haven't written it yet! Yes, that's YOU. 
I'm hoping you have all noticed a couple of changes around the site in particular the new Submit Stuff link in the user menu on the left. This page should tell you how to get involved and anyone can submit an FAQ entry now!
The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) is exactly that. We are starting to see the same questions asked on the forums by new members because the information is now hidden deep in the forums. This will be a place where all that information can be stored logically without confusion. There are a number of articles that need to be written so in no particular order...
- FNS
- London Roller Disco
- Roller Stroll
- Farnham Roller Disco
- Euroblade
- Eastbourne Extreme
- Goodwood Marathon
- Berlin Marathon
- Skate London
- Bearing Maintenance
- Skate Maintenance
...and anything else  Don't worry, all posts will be moderated before being published.
The last thing to say (sorry, I know I write a lot), you will also notice that there is a new forum called "Comments on Articles" and you will notice at the bottom of every article there is a "Discuss this article on the forums" link. These two are linked together, please do not go off topic on these threads. The articles should be written as un-biased as possible (I think!?) and then allow for people to give their own comments on the subject in the linked forum post.
Anyway, all of this is changable. I'm hoping it will work but I will need your help to do it. All feedback welcome
