Euroblade 2005 - 17:17 22 Aug 05 Just heard that Euroblade 2005 is going to be in Southampton on Sunday 25th Sept this year. Anyone planning to go? www.euroblade.com

Tried the URL but tells me doesn't exist - even tried .co.uk - same answer.

Anyone else had this problem or did you manage to get in and get the details?

I had an email from the guy that organises it giving the date and start time so the details are straight from the horse's mouth. There's a free breakfast and T shirt for those that can brave the early start!

The date for this year's Euroblade has been set for Sunday 25 September. The free event will once again start and finish at the St Mary's football stadium at 9.00am and a free breakfast and T shirt will be available to those who take part (subject to availability). The event is a little earlier in the year than usual because the French contingent would have difficulty with the ferry times after this date. As in previous years, it is expected that around 500 French skaters will make the trip across the Channel.

I did this last year and it was great fun and should be even better that they are doing it earlier this year. For my full write up you could always read the forum thread from Euroblade 2004
