Virginia Water? - 20:06 20 Aug 05 I walked around Virginia Water near Windsor today and I was thinking how great it would be to skate around. It's got flat paths, great scenery, it's allowed, why not?

Re:Virginia Water? - 20:15 20 Aug 05 Unless there are any signs saying no skating (or skateboarding or cycling as they sometimes put one sign up but mean them all) then I don't see why not.

What do you mean?

There are no signs saying it I don't think apart from one that says no skating down the hill, but the route goes up the hill anyway. It goes past Prince Charles' polo greens. There's a cafe towards the end too. I saw people driving in some bits and people cycling.

Re:Virginia Water? - 20:28 20 Aug 05 well if your talking around the lake, then about 4.5 miles, use to do it as a cross country run as a teenager. but the lake isn't surrounded by tarmac as far as i recall, plus most of Windsor Great Park has "No Rollerblading" signs up, Queenie doesn't like us!!
