Site cards - 01:30 19 Sep 05 I made up some (business) cards for this site to hand out to anyone that is interested that I may meet. They work well but being in a hot sweaty pocket means that they get messed up quickly.

I have made some laminated versions which seem to work, shout if anyone wants a couple in case they bump into anyone interested

What I was looking for is a company that would professionally make up some plastic business cards that we could use to advertise cskate! Anyone know of such a company?
Does anyone know of any Christmas Card recycling places near Camberley/Reading? I can't find any, should I put them in paper recycling? - Twitter Status

Re:Site cards - 10:24 19 Sep 05 I have used a company called VistaPrint for business cards before, they offer 250 'free' cards, you only pay postage and packaging. The quality is very good but one word of warning. Use a 'throw-away' e-mail address if you contact them as they seem to spam you forever afterwards!

Re:Site cards - 10:30 19 Sep 05 Dogsbody, plastic cards will also scratch, as the ink is raised on the surface, so you've got three options, encapsulate them, have a matt varnish applied or laminate, or though they may still get fluid in them via the cut edges, the other choice is find a maker of credit card and club cards, these will be long lasting, just don't put them in a ATM by mistake!

Re:Site cards - 13:25 19 Sep 05 Neither of them are plastic though!! Although Timo's one has a laminating option.

I have however had another idea! I have a big pile of Business / Credit Card sized CDR's at home which I bought ages ago but never actually found a good use for!...

They hold 50Mb although I can't think of a single thing to put on them bar an HTML file that redirects to the website!

Can anyone think what could be put on them?

Does anyone have any experiance of creating autorun configs that run on M$, Mac & *NIX??
