Other than its an s-lab but in red, anyone know any other differences?

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 13:39 19 Sep 05 See this thread, although it looks like they have changed them from orange to red.

They were going to include rockerable frames! I was going to buy the frames on their own when they are released.
Does anyone know of any Christmas Card recycling places near Camberley/Reading? I can't find any, should I put them in paper recycling? - Twitter Status

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 13:43 19 Sep 05 Yes but given how different it looks compared to the proto-type; just wondered if anyone else knew anything and since now we have a proper pic I thought I'd start a new thread...

Plus are these a downhill frame?

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 13:51 19 Sep 05 Fair enough

I *think* they are actually an even smaller frame (I think the SL is for slalom).

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 13:55 19 Sep 05 ok; so that kinda explains these:

Which are more like the ones in the previous thread but may appear to be for slalom

Salomon FSK 3V

Salomon made little changes on their FSK boots to enter the slalom market in 2006 : new frames for Banana rockering and front strap. Is it enough to make a slalom skate ?

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 17:34 19 Sep 05 Yeah - if I remember rightly, it's just the frame what's changed - the boot is basically the same as the S-lab 2005.

Allows proper bona-fide rockering. If you want it, just get the frame.

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 08:54 20 Sep 05 Ok so when Max popped round last night.... (OK Cheryl was with him !!) I asked him about these.

The Red version are basically the Blue / current 2005 FSK's only Red
The Orange ones have the rocker frames.

So there you have it.
