The Orange frames are the new "FSK 3V SL" frames that we are all interested in. The front and rear wheels are rockerable giving you a bananna shape. I don't know what wheels are supposed to go in this skate!?
According to DemonXtreme's skate spec, http://www.demonxtreme.com/product.php?xProd=801&xSec=94&a=dogsbody they are FSK 80mm x 83a wheels Front & Back, so if this is correct, then presumably anything up to 80mm will fit, providing they are all the same size. Let's await Jason's comments on this.

Re:Salomon Crossmax 3 S-Lab 2 2006 - 16:10 13 Dec 05 we'll this is a good one, the information Salomon gave me TOTALLY wrong (after dogsbodys post - I wanted to check again). Salomon have no plans to produce the 3v SL frame as a third party sale - "buy the skate" if you want the frame came my reply! I have removed the link to this as quite correctly the FSK EA frame is all that is available in red and limited supplies in Blue. I am somewhat annoyed by Salomon as many have asked for this information and despite getting it from the horses mouth, they still gave me the wrong info! The difference between the frames is the sl is slightly shorter for agility BUT the difference in this isn't markeable in agility. The rocker frame means agility is a major improvement (theortically losing 2 wheels in length) to the turning circle. The Downside to this is grip will be impaired but that isn't so important to most I guess.
The material is identical and pretty much the weight is identical.
The complete skate is available.
Sorry for all the confusion but if cant trust the manufacturers info then who can you trust.

Re:*new* Salomon Crossmax 3v SL - 18:10 13 Dec 05 I need proper slalom skates now. Not sure if twisters are a better plan though. Plus, as I have the Xmax 3, this boot will be a nice upgrade too... ! Skate Monkey !
