stiff! - 08:54 26 Sep 05 damn! - three frozen bearings after S'ton

but worse still, whilst I was trying to undo the rear wheel on my FSK I knackered the alun key recess in the bold - so I can't take the wheel off!

Any ideas anyone? Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing

Re:stiff! - 09:22 26 Sep 05 totally screwed! I thought about drilling it out but the frame is threaded so I'm not sure how I could do that without dilling off the thread in the frame too! Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing

I have posted on SR and Mike sugested taking them to Slick Willies, aprarantly a lot of people do it! Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing

Re:stiff! - 10:39 26 Sep 05 Just before LIM 2004 I needed a bolt removing as I'd shredded the allen key bit. I tried Slick Willies as they have a small device for getting bolts out but as I'd managed to snap a reverse thread bit in there trying to get it out myself they couldn't help.

In the end it was Snow and Rock, Covent Garden who removed it. They have a massive workshop and the blokey got the bolt out in about 5 mins after the fella from Slick Willes had tried for about an hour!

Apparently, it's a known common problem with FSK bolts that they shred easily
