Re:Introduce yourself! - 14:42 13 Dec 11 Well looks like I'll pop down tonight at sandhurst then. Is it in the leisure centre then or outside? How much is it?

Re:Introduce yourself! - 14:59 13 Dec 11 Hi Sklya Fett.

It's inside the Leisure Centre.

Walk in the main entrance, go straight past the reception to the end of the corridor. Turn left and walk as far as you can go into a small room. Change into your skates there. Pay Red (she will find you ) in the changing area. Cost is £2.50 as shown in the FAQ which Dogsbody pointed to. There is no skate hire there, but from reading your post I presume you have skates.

Have fun.

Re:Introduce yourself! - 03:57 31 Dec 11 Welcome to the forum Sam... an old Soundtrack is as good a reason as any hope to see you on your new wheels soon!

Have you got yourself quads or inlines by the way? Whichever, I'm sure you'll be bitten by the skating bug as soon as you put them on

Re:Introduce yourself! - 22:34 21 Feb 12 Hi,
I’m Andy. Yet another born again skater! I used to skate as a kid (started on good old metal mickies) and used to frequent the Rollerena down in Plymouth as a regular for a 4 years but gave it up when I moved to Germany some 27 years ago and haven’t skated since. After taking my son skating over the Christmas period I decided I wanted to get back in to it, so I’ve been going to the Saturday morning sessions at the arena since January where Mick and Jane have been helping me find my wheels again and I’ve popped up to London a couple of times to do the Sunday stroll. It’s all flooding back, including falling on my arse (Which Mick thinks I’m getting quite proficient at), which is great, I’m really enjoying both the indoor and outdoor sessions.

I did go once to the 5pm session but most of you were away watching the Windsor girls roller derby, however fingers crossed I’ll be there this weekend so should get a chance to say hello.

See you all soon.

Andy
