Is skating nerdy? - 17:13 04 Nov 05 Every time I mention to a non-skater about inline skating I get the same
response 'Oh, I bought a pair but I only wore them once'. Followed by
the - haven't you grown out of that yet - look

Meanwhile they drive to the gymn to get on a treadbike

What can you say to these sorrowful corpse-draggers to get them to
understand skating as a serious hobby?

Re:Is skating nerdy? - 17:17 04 Nov 05 Skating works the more muscles then the running machine and gives better VMax O2 results then runners and joggers training over the same period. Also, skating is low impact on your knees. So if they are worried about health there is your answer. :: In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey

Re:Is skating nerdy? - 17:21 04 Nov 05 I was thinking more in the lines of -
'Maybe that's why your butts so big'.

Re:Is skating nerdy? - 18:23 04 Nov 05 *noise*

I get that from quite a few people at school who either skateboard or bmx. They reckon it's childish.

Psh. Screw them!
