Le Man Costs & Deposit - 22:43 29 Jan 06
OK, one of my actions from the meeting. Let you all know the approximate costs of doing Le Man. These are very approximate costs but will give you a rough idea of personal cost....
Travel - £150 (ferry) or £250 (train). The ferry price is mainly the car so more that one person in a car helps a lot! We should all also be on the look out for holiday discounts in the newspapers etc.
Food - £30
Campsite - £5
Tent - £20 - £100 depending on what you want and if you haven't already got one
Mattress for tent - £30 (recommended)
Extra bits, bobs & spending money - £50
Hotel for Sunday Night - £20
2 x T-shirts - £20
Deposit - £40
Deposit! As you may or may not know it costs 520 Euro for us to enter a team so time for you to put your money where you mouth is  I would like to start collecting £40 from everyone planning on going to Le Man, this will cover the team entry fee, a central pool of bits and bobs such as a good first aid kit and if there is any money left over then it will go towards the T-shirts and/or food.
