Re:Le Mans 2006 - Packing list - 22:57 24 Apr 06 A nice big flag is always a good item to have for us to easily identify our area of the campsite, as there are hundreds of tents there, it can get a bit tricky to navigate your way throught them all back to your tent, especially when you are pooped from a nice long shift! just dont hit the cones!

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Packing list - 09:32 25 Apr 06 A good plan! although doesn't that mean we have to buy a flag pole?? Anyone got one??

I have been trying to mentally pick a good area to camp, not sure how close we want to be next to the noisy London lot Although they did have a fence to hang flags on!

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Packing list - 13:10 25 Apr 06 hmmm.. what area to camp?

Well we dont want to be too far away from the enterance from the track. we ont want to be to far away from the toilets...or to close for that matter

the place where we were last year was an idea spot, there was space to park the cars etc at the top of the hill you could watch the race on the track, it was a good distance from the track and showers/toilets.......

I personally think we should go for somewhere around that area

Also with that area, i hate to say this but if it rains ( touch wood it wont), you wont get your car stuck in the mud beacuse you can park it on the gravel..
just dont hit the cones!
