Le Mans - Drivers - 01:12 11 May 06 As you are all probably aware, we need a "green card to drive abroad", should we apply for them now or is it to early?

the other thing is, with my insurance, they only let you have the green card for free for 3 days, anythin over will cost a few pennies, im not sure how much, i will have to call them just dont hit the cones!

Re:Le Mans - Drivers - 17:15 11 May 06 Not sure how the European cover works BUT with the AA Uk cover the person is covered not the specific car. So my parents are covered, so if they were in my car (which doesn't have breakdown cover) and it broke down then they can call them out to fix my car cause they were in the car at the time....(or as my dad says - if I break down somehow we would get one of my parent to me and then call them

)

Just thinking if that works for european cover - if a couple of people have it and we are travelingin convoy...then if something happens we just make out whoever has the cover was in that car..

But you would have to check the breakdown policy..
Plus the French may not be so stupid

Plus not sure if that would work with Dogsbodys car as his is unique
