Goodwood - Camping Chairs required - Please :-) - 11:23 13 Jul 06 This is an appeal for Camping chairs

We need chairs for Goodwood, however with limited car space they need to be easily transportable....therefore the idea of Camping chairs was mentioned.

So this is an appeal for anyone who has camping chair/s and would be willing to lend us them for a day (30th July 2006).

So if you have any Camping chairs and you are willing to lend them to us please can you post up on this thread stating:

1) How many you are willing to lend us?
2) If you are attending Goodwood if you can bring them up in your own transport with you? (P.S if you can bring them up with you and you have other chairs (i.e garden chairs etc etc) that you can fit in as well these would be appreciated too )
3) If you are not attending Goodwood and are still willing to let us steal your chairs for a day or cannot transport the chairs up can you let us know so we can arrange transport for them?

Please be aware they if you lend your camping chair/s to us you will not be the only person using it. It will be placed in our area of Goodwood for all participants to use (mainly probably to put on and remove skates etc etc) so if your not happy with your chair 1) being possibly left attend for some part of the day or 2) other people using it, then please do no volunteer your chair to us

Every care will of course be taken that no harm/damage comes to them. Also some of them will be used for the registration desks and Organisers areas so it will be people you know using them too (not sure if thats a good or a bad thing )

Also if anyone has a pasting Table we *may* need to borrow some of these too so please can you let us know if people have these too??

Thanks in advance for you help - I will keep a track of all offers on this top post.
Merry

P.S I have two Camping Chairs, 2 garden type chairs and a pasting table. I *should* be able to fit them in my car - Just..with the roof down..on a sunny day!

Re:Goodwood - Camping Chairs required - Please :-) - 14:20 13 Jul 06 I will be bringing along:

2 green camping chairs as previously demonstrated at Le Mans that can be used for "officials" and known cskaters. (I would have thought that other punters will have made their own arrangements and if they turn up expecting seats do they want us to skate the race for them too?!? There's a perfectly good grassy knoll for people to lurk on - what else do they want?!?)
1 pasting table
1 "stiff bristled" yardbrush for sweeping up "debris" as discussed on Tues

Very Good point Dan solo Well I think we were planning on providing a 'couple' just around registration for people but to be honest my two I'm happy for others to use so that should be cool plus anyone elses who want to allow others to use them

Re:Goodwood - Camping Chairs required - Please :-) - 21:45 13 Jul 06 I have a chair and small table for use by officials I'll ask my dad about another table and a couple of stiff brushes. A great talk from @davecarroll at #DigitalSurrey tonight. He's the writer of the United Breaks Guitars song and a great talker - Twitter Status
