the RiDe on the Dunes - Skate in France - 07:44 18 Aug 06
Hello,
I'm Arno, I'm a french from Paris
we have started to organize "La Rando des Dunes Vol.2".
Last year, the first edition was an intimate 300km journey along the Atlantic Coast whith mostly skaters from the famous tuesday night riding team.
But this year, we are going international!
After the success of first RiDe on the Dunes, Mardi C’est Roller (Roll on Tuesday) — the french epicurean skaters— with "The Check Tablecloth association" is launching the second edition of the RiDe on the Dunes,
a 400km raid on roller across the French southwestern Landes,
from september the 9th to september the 17th.
We are expecting 40 participants from 10 different countries, supported by 10 staff members for this 7 days trip in the middle of the dunes and the pine trees, always close to the atlantic sea.
It will also be the opportunity to taste french cuisine made of local products and enjoy animated evenings with the legendary atmosphere of "Mardi C’est Roller"!
