Design a Goodwood Logo - Please! - 11:08 28 Jan 07 Design a Goodwood Logo

Well the date is set for the 29th July 2007. The People of Goodwood have very kindly allowed us to keep our name and the stage is finally getting set for this event.

One thing we didn't have time to do last year was create our own Goodwood Roller Marathon logo! So this year its our aim to get this sorted ASAP so it can appear on all forms, websites and any marketing we do. This year we are hoping to make it bigger and better than 2006 so marketing will be far and wide!

So people of Cskate, we need your help! this is your chance to shine!

Can you design an Official Logo for the Goodwood Roller Marathon??

This logo will stay with the event for years to come and hopefully will be a way for people to recognise the event without any words needed!

If we can avoid putting the year on it that would keep it timeless and to be honest it doesn't even have to have 'Goodwood Roller Marathon' actually on it anywhere! It can purely be pictures

So if anyone has any ideas please post them up

Even if you can't do the techie images like Cskates official Logo designers Mitchell and Titch

then please put up your idea in words or even an 'artist impression' in pencil (or show us a hand drawn picture at one of our skate session) as we can also find someone to create the image electronically.

I think this is the key, no only is it something that's simple and recognisable but if we ever do change our name then it'll help people know we are the same event. Three of my completely unconnected friends are going to "tuttle" today, what on earth is tuttle?? - Twitter Status

Good Question

Um it might be! Who knows what we might plan in the future

T-shirts for officials on the day, T-shirts as prizes, t-shirt for leaflet droppers..things like that. No plan this year as far as I know but next year who knows
