Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 8th August 2010 - 21:27 06 Apr 10 I'm waiting for a bit of decent weather and hope to go on a Sunday morning. More than welcome to join me. I've kinda decided if I can't negiotiate the banked bit, then I'll just have to make do with the straight run. I'll check out with the stadium again for the next couple of Sundays to make sure nothing else is going on and pop an update on here.

You really need to give Dorney a go, although I'm not sure what state it's in. ! Skate Monkey !

The last time Tom and I skated there (Sept I think) there was a lot of work going on, but still plenty of smooth tarmac to skate on. You just couldnt loop all the way round.

Can I suggest you make options available with quads and longboarders photos? I have (for example) a local skateboard/longboard shop and the current photos concentrate toomuch on skates,

You would not believe how many photos we went through trying to get all the different skate types as well as all the different skater types (speed, families, kids) and even tried thinking about skin colour. If we included them all we would have no space of text or all the pics would be so small they would be pointless.

We were also having to deal with just the photos we had, some of the really good pictures cut off some of the key elements (the feet) something that is already happening in the current pics, and other pictures that are conceptually right are dull and boring for a poster. If we were a professional company we would have done a specific photoshoot for it but we are just trying to work with what we have in the time available.

As Red says, the NSPCC have done the poster and the flier, I hope you agree that it's still an improvement over the old one. In Vauxhall for the roller disco. Impressive setup. Now it's time to get my groove on
